Today we are excited to announce the release of our latest feature: a detailed transaction analytics page to help visualize your dapp specific activity. It is currently live on the Terminal platform, so if you are already a Terminal user, you can check it out now. Any data surfaced from existing integrations will be reflected in the transaction analytics page alongside any future data generated by your dapp. If you haven’t taken a few minutes to set up Terminal for monitoring your dapp yet, there hasn’t been a better time to do it than now! Take a sneak peak of what the transaction analytics page looks like at the bottom of the page.
The transaction analytics page offers a multitude of different analytics tools to provide a full picture of your dapps activity. This includes listings of recent and top failed calls, events and function calls as well as regular transactions. All of this dapp specific contract data is decoded and displayed in an easy to read format. The decoded function parameters are available as well just by clicking on the call your interested in. Because the transaction analytics page data originates from the transactions feed and logs page, any layer 2 interactions made through your dapp will be surfaced here as well.
We natively support decoded function calls for every contract that has a verified contract or abi uploaded on etherscan. If your dapp utilizes contracts that don’t have that information available on etherscan, you can easily upload the abi on our platform to begin seeing decoded function names. This functionality removes the need to sift through encoded function calls and other contract data on block explorers just to get a vague and incomplete understanding of your dapps usage.
Apart from contract based data, the transaction analytics page surfaces the total volume transacted through your dapp as well as detailed analytics of transactions fees across different functions calls. Along with surfacing this valuable data, the transaction analytics page provides seamless sorting of all this data through the use of a number of different filters.
Regardless of your dapps functionality, the transaction analytics page provides unparalleled insight into your projects usage allowing you to dive into the nitty gritty details of every transaction. We are able to offer all of this support through the integration of our software development kit (TerminalSDK). Check out how to get started with the TerminalSDK as its simple and should only take about 15 minutes. If you have any trouble getting setup with the TerminalSDK please reach out in our Discord, on our website, on Twitter, or email us at email@example.com.
